With just 12 days until Extra Life 2019, here are some updates for Extra Life Syracuse. On October 6th, guild members attended CuseCon, the first tabletop gaming convention in the Syracuse area. During the event, $885 was raised For The Kids at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. In addition, CuseCon donated several raffle items where the proceeds will directly benefit the hospital. RetroGameCon http://www.retrogamecon.com/ will be November 2nd-3rd at The Oncenter. This is one of the largest events to benefit Extra Life Syracuse. In particular, the raffle and auction at this event serve as major fundraisers. Finally, the most recent fundraising and participant numbers show increases from 2018. Extra Life Syracuse currently has 163 registered participants, which is a 44% increase from this time last year. Regarding fundraising, Extra Life Syracuse has raised just over $18,000, which is a 75% increase from this time last year.
