Binghamton University Dance Marathon
On April 10, 2021, Binghamton University held their 4th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon which benefits the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital by raising awareness and funds for critical life-saving and healthcare services for local pediatric patients as well as their families.
This year has been so uncertain and unlike any other. Lucky enough, Binghamton University was able to pull of their dance marathon virtually this year. Featured in this year’s virtual dance marathon was featuring Miracle Child stories and videos, a virtual tour of the hospital, stand-up comedy, the Binghamton University dance team, a Zumba class, raffles, a game of Kahoot, and more!
Fun was had by all and it was shown on everyone’s face who participated in these events. Donations were made which led the event to raising a total of $11,129.30.
Although everyone would have been so happy to be together in person to participate in this special event, all those involved enjoyed this virtual event tremendously, especially the children at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.
A big special thank you to the Binghamton University Dance Marathon 2021 committee for all their hard work and dedication to make this event so special even in such uncertain times. Another big thank you to all the donors for their very generous donations.
We are looking forward to the Binghamton University Dance Marathon in 2022 and hoping for an in person event. Just remember, FTK!
